Yes, GuiXT is already being used successfully by numerous customers with S/4HANA. SAP GUI for Windows or the SAP Business Client is used here.
When transactions are called from the Fiori Launchpad, the transactions are started in the SAP GUI for HTML by default and GuiXT cannot be used. However, if you use the Fiori Launchpad within the SAP Business Client, you can configure it so that every transaction that is called from the Launchpad runs within the SAP Business Client and GuiXT is active again.
