Introduction
The solution CIS mobile was originally developed for SAP when the module SD-CAS (Customer Activity Suite) was still available. With the introduction of SAP S/4HANA, however, the system landscape has fundamentally changed: The SD-CAS module has been removed from the standard and is no longer available.
From release S/4HANA 1709, SAP offers a new platform for mapping customer-related activities with the CRM Add-on for S/4HANA. This new architecture integrates many CRM functionalities directly into the S/4HANA system, replacing the previous SD-CAS structures. The aim of this documentation is to show how a migration of existing structures from SD-CAS to the new CRM data model can take place – specifically concerning the continued use by CIS mobile.
