CIS mobile allows the administrator to define default selection parameters for different lists and views. These parameters ensure that the displayed data is tailored to a user's role or responsibility, and they optimize the performance by reducing unnecessary data volume.

For various data lists such as customer search, contacts, inquiries, quotations, orders, contracts, complaints, and service notifications, you can predefine valid combinations of:

• Sales Organizations
• Distribution Channels
• Divisions

These restrictions are especially useful when users should only see data from their assigned sales areas. Multiple values (e.g., 1010,1710) can be entered to allow broader visibility, for example for managers.

For some list types, you can also set filters like:

• Inquiry types
• Quotation types
• Order types
• Notification types (e.g., Q1, Q2, S1)
• Maximum document age (in months)

These help further refine the result sets shown to the user.

In addition to back-end default values, filter controls can be activated for users. This allows selection of data based on the creator ("Erfasser") or even viewing entries created by other colleagues. These filters appear as dropdowns in the list header and improve transparency and collaboration across teams.

This configuration ensures that each user sees only the data that is relevant to their area of responsibility. It simplifies the interface, reduces data load, and enhances usability in everyday scenarios – whether for field service, inside sales, or management.
