Purpose and Use
In CIS mobile, contact persons can be created, maintained, and optionally enriched with additional information. This is done in close integration with the SAP system, where both text types and classification attributes can be utilized.
Text Types for Contact Persons
Long texts can be stored for each contact person, e.g., to document meeting notes or special comments. The available text types are defined in the SAP system using specific text type codes – in the format TIDxxxx, TIDyyyy, TIDzzzz.

These text types are configured as dedicated objects in the SAP system. Examples:
  • TID0001 – Meeting note
  • TIDC003 – Visit entry
  • TID0003 – Customer comment
The exact meaning of each type is customer-specific and can be maintained in the relevant SAP transaction. CIS mobile adopts and displays these types within the appropriate context.
Classification of Contact Persons
Contact persons can also be enriched with characteristics from the SAP classification system. A custom class (e.g., INTERESSEN_AP) is defined, which contains various characteristics representing interests or attributes.

Characteristics are defined using the format CLSxxxx, for example:
  • CLSMUSIK – Music preferences
  • CLSSPORT – Sports
  • CLSTIERE – Pets
  • CLSORG – Organization type
The available characteristics and their input formats (checkbox, dropdown, text field, etc.) are entirely controlled by the SAP system. CIS mobile displays this structure as-is and ensures a user-friendly interface.
Partner Type and Partner Group
The fields Partner Type (e.g., 0002) and Partner Group (e.g., BP02) define the contact person's role within the SAP system.

While the specific meaning of these fields depends on the customer implementation, they usually determine how a contact person is linked within the system – such as being assigned to a specific customer. This mapping affects the visibility of the contact person within the CIS mobile customer view.
